Instead, we charge the exact rate we pay EMS, so you only pay real postage—not inflated costs. Your Chanisa bag is handmade by our artisan women in rural Thai villages, including Chiang Mai, Phayao, and Nakhon Si Thammarat. Once weaving is completed, it’s sent to our dispatch hub in Nakhon Sawan. This central hub is where all our final checks, packing, and shipping takes place. Every bag passes through this system for consistent quality and global delivery. The journey from village to hub, and then from hub to your home, is smooth and fully documented.
Inspected, Photographed, and Packed with Care
Every Chanisa tote is thoroughly inspected before leaving our dispatch hub. Our team checks every ribbon, stitch, and seam. We photograph and video each bag before packing, ensuring your order is in perfect handmade condition. We then place the bag into a white cotton storage pouch that keeps it clean and protected during transit. This pouch is fully reusable and ideal for long-term storage. Our packaging is plastic-free and environmentally responsible, combining protection with presentation.

Once your bag is complete, it is sent to our dispatch hub, where it’s checked and then shipped. The EMS tracking time begins only after the parcel has been posted. After dispatch, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your EMS tracking number. This allows you to monitor the parcel’s location as it moves through each stage of delivery. If you do not receive your tracking number within 24 hours, check your spam or promotions folders. Delivered by Your Local Postal Service
Once your order arrives in your country, EMS hands it over to your national postal service or courier. While we provide full support for EMS-related inquiries, we cannot control the local delivery process. Most of our bags arrive without issue, but if something does go wrong, we’re here to help. We’ll work with you and your local postal carrier to resolve the issue and ensure successful delivery of your wedding tote.
Most Orders Do Not Incur Import Taxes
Straw bags like the Chanisa often pass through customs without requiring import duties. However, some countries apply taxes or VAT depending on their regulations. These are not included in the bag or shipping price. If customs requests payment, it will be your responsibility. That said, the majority of our wedding customers receive their bags without needing to pay anything extra. If you’re unsure, contact us and we’ll advise you based on your country.

We Monitor Every Delivery for Delays
External factors such as customs delays, weather disruptions, or busy holiday seasons can occasionally cause delivery delays. If this happens, we remain involved until the parcel is delivered. We stay in contact with EMS and your local courier, offering you support throughout the process. Most deliveries arrive on time, but if something slows down, you’ll be informed and supported every step of the way.
Double-Check Your Shipping Address
To avoid delivery issues, please enter your full shipping address accurately at checkout. Incomplete or incorrect addresses may cause your parcel to be returned. If this happens, we’ll contact you and can arrange redelivery, but the new shipping cost must be paid before reshipment. We cannot refund the original shipping charge if the issue resulted from incorrect address details.
Returns for Undelivered Items
If your parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect address, unclaimed delivery, or failed customs processing, we will notify you. You can choose to have the item shipped again, with the new shipping fee paid by you. In some cases, you may choose to cancel the order, but the original shipping cost will not be refunded unless there was an issue caused by us or the courier.

EMS charges a flat rate for parcels up to 1kg, so often, you’ll pay the same to ship two or even three bags as you would for one. Only Real Courier Charges at Checkout
We never charge extra for packing, admin, or handling. You’ll see a single EMS courier fee based on your region. Everything else—like photography, inspection, our signature cotton pouch, and eco packaging—is already included. Our goal is to keep things fair, clear, and simple for every customer, whether you’re ordering one bag or ten.
Returns Policy and Customer Support
All of our bags are carefully inspected before dispatch. If your Chanisa tote arrives damaged or defective, please email us within 48 hours of delivery with photos or a short video. Once we confirm the issue, we’ll offer a full refund or send a replacement. For non-damaged returns, you can send the item back within 14 days. Returns must be sent to our Thai hub using a tracked airfreight service. We’ll refund the bag cost once we receive it, but original shipping charges are not refunded unless the item was faulty.
